Fathom Events Presents: Studio Ghibli

June 22, 2017

Maybe My Neighbor Totoro was your first introduction Hayao Miyazaki.

Or maybe it was even earlier with Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Either way, Fathom Events has decided to make our dreams come true. They are hosting a Studio Ghibli Fest event showing a different movie each month till the end of the year.

In case you don't know, Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation film studio known for its anime feature films. It is run by director Hayao Miyazaki and has won numerous awards and accolades for films across the globe.

The first movie showing is My Neighbor Totoro in June. One showing for dubbed, and one for sub-titled, depending on your preference. I, for one, am already marking my calendar to make as many movies as I can.

It's a year of delightful Studio Ghibli films, so don't miss out!  These films are truly a joy for all ages!

“Is someone different at age 18 or 60? I believe one stays the same.”

― Hayao Miyazaki

“I do believe in the power of story. I believe that stories have an important role to play in the formation of human beings, that they can stimulate, amaze and inspire their listeners.”
― Hayao Miyazaki
